Chelsea Coach Rosenior Speaks Out Against Racism

Chelsea's current coach, Liam Rosenior, expressed strong disapproval of racism in football, particularly in light of the allegations against Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr. UEFA has initiated an investigation into claims of racial abuse directed at Vinicius during a Champions League match against Benfica.

If found guilty, the perpetrator could face a suspension of at least ten matches in European competitions. Rosenior's comments came ahead of Chelsea's weekend fixture.

Concurrently, Leicester City is appealing a six-point deduction imposed by the English Football League for breaching financial rules. This penalty was handed down by an independent commission earlier in the month, resulting in Leicester dropping to 20th place in the Championship, just above the relegation zone.

The club is two points adrift of safety and has lodged an appeal against the commission's decision, with a judicial panel set to appoint an appeal board to hear the case in the coming week.
