Chevron Nigeria Reaffirms Commitment to Niger Delta Development

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has reiterated its commitment to the socio-economic development of the Niger Delta. During discussions with stakeholders regarding the proposed Escravos-Warri road project, CNL confirmed its interest in collaborating with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and the Delta State government.

The discussions took place during a visit on March 12, 2026, in Asaba, where Segun Kuteyi, Director and Chief Operating Officer of Chevron Nigeria Mid Africa Region, highlighted the potential of the road project to improve connectivity and foster economic development in the region. Olusoga Oduselu, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Chevron Nigeria Mid Africa Region, stated that CNL believes a collaborative approach with various stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners, will deliver the best value for NDDC initiatives.

CNL will continue to collaborate with the Nigerian government and stakeholders to support the development of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and the economy.
