Chevron Nigeria Reaffirms Commitment to Niger Delta Development

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has reaffirmed its commitment to the socio-economic development of the Niger Delta region. During a visit to Delta State on Thursday, Segun Kuteyi, Director and Chief Operating Officer of Chevron Nigeria Mid Africa Region, confirmed CNL's interest in stakeholder discussions regarding the proposed Escravos-Warri road project.

CNL believes that constructing this road will significantly improve connectivity and foster economic development in the region. The company recognizes the importance of building synergies with the Delta State government throughout the project's lifecycle.

CNL advocates for a collaborative approach involving various stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners, to deliver the best value for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) initiatives. Additionally, CNL plans to continue collaborating with the Nigerian government and stakeholders to support the development of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and the broader Nigerian economy.
