Chevron Reaffirms Commitment to Niger Delta Development

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has reaffirmed its commitment to the socio-economic development of the Niger Delta region through a partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and the Niger Delta Development Commission. This commitment was articulated in a statement made available to journalists in Warri on Saturday.

Mr. Olusoga Oduselu, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Chevron Nigeria, and Mr.

Segun Kuteyi, Director and Chief Operating Officer for Chevron Nigeria, emphasized the importance of constructing roads to enhance connectivity and foster economic development in the region. They highlighted the necessity of collaboration among various stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners, to deliver value on projects initiated by the NDDC.

The statement also mentioned the critical role of the Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (RITC) in incentivizing private sector participation in state projects. CNL expressed its ongoing commitment to collaborate with the Nigerian government and stakeholders to support the development of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and the broader economy.
