Governor Adeleke Advocates for Children's Welfare in Osun

On Children's Day, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke highlighted the necessity of investing in the younger generation, stating that children are the foundation of tomorrow's society. In a statement issued in Osogbo by his spokesperson Olawal Rashe, Adeleke congratulated children across the state and emphasized that every child deserves access to quality education, healthcare, and equal opportunities, irrespective of their social background.

He reiterated his administration's commitment to policies and programs aimed at supporting the welfare and development of children in Osun State. Adeleke called for ongoing efforts to improve access to quality education and safe learning environments, as well as better living conditions for young people.

He urged parents, guardians, teachers, and religious leaders to instill discipline and moral values in children, stressing that raising children is a collective responsibility. The governor warned against child abuse, neglect, and violence, asserting that society risks endangering its future if it fails to protect its children.
