China and Nigeria Strengthen Tourism and Cultural Ties

China and Nigeria are deepening their tourism and cultural cooperation, as highlighted during an event hosted by the China Cultural Center Nigeria. Director Yang Jianx emphasized that the year's theme reflects the power of tourism in promoting friendship and mutual understanding.

He noted that tourism is a strong instrument for connecting people and civilizations, referencing landmarks such as the Great Wall and Nigeria's Zuma Rock. Abdulkarim Ibrahim, Nigeria's Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism, stated that the relationship between Nigeria and China has strengthened over five decades, with China’s investment in tourism infrastructure offering valuable lessons for Nigeria.
