Chris Okafor's Legal Battle with Doris Ogala Set for April

Chris Okafor, a Nigerian pastor, has initiated legal proceedings against Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and social media influencer Martin Ots, known as VeryDarkMan, with the case scheduled for a ruling on April 16 at the Ikeja High Court. The suit, marked ID 14399GCMW, includes Kelvin Emmanuel Okafor as a co-defendant.

During a court session, the claimant's counsel, Ifeanyi Ajayi, informed the court about the service of process. The first defendant's counsel, Nzeakor Atulomah, raised a preliminary objection regarding the writ of summons, claiming it did not comply with Section 97 of the Sheriff and Civil Process Act.

The court granted leave for the service of the preliminary objection notice electronically. Additionally, an interim order was issued to restrain the defendants from publishing or releasing any private materials related to Okafor, including texts and images, pending the final determination of the case.
