Enugu APC Elects New Leadership Under Chukwunweike

On Tuesday, Dr. Martin Chukwunweike was elected as the chairman of the Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), leading a new executive committee of 37 members, including Hon.

Chukwudi Nnadozi as secretary. The elections took place at the state congress held at Okpara Square, Enugu, and were described as free, fair, and credible.

Governor Peter Mbah commended the party's leadership for their transparency and faith in the electoral process. He highlighted the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu, which have facilitated revenue inflow into the state.

Mbah noted the approval for significant infrastructure projects, including the Enugu International Airport and a railway project aimed at enhancing transportation. Chukwunweike pledged to work diligently to ensure the re-election of Mbah, emphasizing the need for effective grassroots administration and development.

The congress also saw commendations for the previous leadership under Dr. Ben Nwoy and calls for unity within the party ahead of future elections.
