Mallam Gobir Re-elected President of CIPM Nigeria

During the 57th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria (CIPM), Mallam Ahm Ladan Gobir was re-elected as president, receiving a total of 2,784 votes. Mr.

Chidinma Justina Obiejesi was re-elected as vice president with 1,469 votes. Mr.

Adeyemi Ajayi was elected as the national treasurer, garnering 1,785 votes. Other members of the governing council were also returned to office, including Eng.

Sean Olabod Badiru with 2,334 votes and Sa Adatu Asab Faruk with 2,279 votes. The AGM highlighted significant achievements during Gobir's tenure, including membership growth from 1,700 in 2023 to a projected 3,000 by 2025, and an overall membership increase to 27,000.

The institute has focused on enforcing professional standards and engaging with government initiatives, alongside deploying new technological platforms for membership applications and examinations.
