CIPM Calls for Organizational Repositioning Amid Changes

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) has called on organizations to reposition themselves in response to significant changes in the workplace. This statement was made by Mallam Ahm Ladan Gobir, the Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, in anticipation of the 58th International Conference and Exhibition scheduled to take place from September 21 to September 24, 2026, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Gobir highlighted the necessity for organizations to reassess their existing structures and strengthen workforce capabilities to align people strategies with broader business objectives. He noted that human resource management has evolved into a critical driver of business success, moving beyond administrative functions to play a strategic role in organizational performance and innovation.

The conference aims to provide a strategic platform for HR professionals, business leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to explore practical solutions to contemporary workplace challenges and emerging opportunities.
