City Boy Movement Aids Oyo Community After Abduction

On Tuesday, the City Boy Movement, directed by Olufemi Onireti, donated medical equipment and healthcare supplies to the Esinel Community in Oriir Local Government Area, Oyo State, following the abduction of a teacher and pupils. During the visit, Onireti expressed optimism that the abducted individuals would soon regain their freedom and urged residents to remain hopeful.

The incident, which occurred on May 15, 2026, during a coordinated attack on Baptist Nursery Primary School and Yawota Community Grammar School, has sparked widespread concern across Oyo State. The donation included a cash contribution of N1 million to the family of the deceased teacher, Michael Oyedokun, and a scholarship for his son, Abiodun Samuel Oyedokun.

High Chief Tajudeen Abioy commended the federal and state governments for their intervention and emphasized the need for intensified efforts to secure the victims' release without delay.
