Kachikwu Slams ADC Convention for Defying Court Order

Dumebi Kachikwu, a presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), publicly condemned the party's recent convention held in Abuja on Tuesday. He stated that the convention was conducted in defiance of a Federal High Court order issued on April 14, which directed the party to maintain the status quo pending the determination of a suit filed by ADC state chairmen against former Senate President David Mark.

Kachikwu characterized the conveners of the convention as "political merchants" intent on destabilizing the country. He criticized the convention for engaging in a blame game against opposition figures while failing to provide alternative policies.

Kachikwu's remarks highlight the internal conflicts within the ADC and the ongoing legal disputes affecting the party's leadership and direction.
