Nigerian Navy Chief Reshuffles Command, Redeploys 65 Rear Admirals

The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Abbas approved the redeployment of 65 Rear Admirals in a significant shake-up within the Nigerian Navy. The move is aimed at boosting operational efficiency, enhancing strategic readiness, and strengthening the overall command structure.

Rear Admirals were reassigned to key operational, training, logistics, intelligence, and administrative roles within the Navy and Defence Headquarters. Notable appointments include Rear Admiral Suleiman Abdullahi as Chief Logistician, Rear Admiral Kasim Bushi as head of Naval Training Command, Rear Admiral Musa Katagum as Chief of Naval Operations, among others.
