Coalition Endorses Seriki for Kwara Governorship 2027

A coalition of political groups in Kwara State has officially endorsed Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki for the governorship seat in the upcoming 2027 elections. The endorsement was announced across three senatorial districts, with the Kwara North Women Advancement Group, led by Hajarat Jummai Usman and Hajia Ramat Husaini, expressing their support.

The Kwara Central Advancement Stakeholders Forum, which includes members from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in local government areas such as Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South, also backed Seriki. The coalition's statement, signed by Arc Akanbi Lamidi, emphasized the need for continued governance and urged party members and residents to support the emergence of Seriki as the APC flagbearer.

Additionally, the Ilorin Emir Youth Assembly, coordinated by Hon Ayuba Olomogbona and Hon Lateef Oloyin, described Seriki as a grassroots politician with strong credibility in youth empowerment and community development.
