COFFHA to Invest Augustina Igbokwe as President-elect

The Coalition of Female Founders and Humanitarian Advocates (COFFHA) is preparing for the investiture ceremony of Augustina Igbokwe as President-elect. The event will take place in Lagos and is part of COFFHA's mission to improve the lives of individuals and families in Nigeria's poorest communities.

Founded in 1991 and formally incorporated in January 1993, COFFHA is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women across various fields. Carolyn Akum Ufer, co-founder and chairman of the board of trustees, highlighted COFFHA's commitment to serving vulnerable populations and creating lasting impacts at the grassroots level.

The organization aligns its programs with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on poverty eradication, health promotion, gender equality, and economic growth. COFFHA has executed numerous projects across Lagos, Anambra, Abuja, and Asaba, including the refurbishment of health facilities and support for orphanages and vulnerable groups, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
