Kano State Enhances Infrastructure with Federal Collaboration

The Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, is actively collaborating with the Federal Government to improve infrastructure in the education and healthcare sectors. Ibrahim Waiya, the Kano State Commissioner for Information, highlighted the positive impact of federal projects, such as the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano superhighway, which has significantly reduced travel time and boosted economic activities in the region.

The rehabilitation of roads is nearing completion, facilitating smoother commutes, particularly at night along the Dawakin Tofa axis. The administration is also working on the multi-billion naira Dan Agundi Tal Udu flyover bridge to ease traffic congestion at a notorious junction in Kano.

This project is part of the state government's initiative to address 80% of traffic congestion in the area, showcasing their commitment to enhancing infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents.
