College of Education Matriculates 342 Students in Sokoto

On Wednesday, the College of Education in Gidan Madi, Sokoto State, held a matriculation ceremony for 342 newly admitted students for the academic session. During the event, Provost Dr.

Malami Muhammad warned students against examination malpractices, stating that the institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy for such offenses. He emphasized that any student found guilty of these vices would face suspension or expulsion.

Dr. Muhammad encouraged students to prepare themselves for a successful future by adhering to values such as sincerity, humility, and hard work, which are essential attributes for professional teachers.

Additionally, he announced the admission of students into two schools: Science Education and Vocational Technical Education, expressing hope for the establishment of additional schools in Social Sciences and Arts. Chairman of the College Governing Board, Dr.

Abdullahi Adamu, congratulated the new students, urging them to consider their admission a great privilege, as the admission process was rigorous and not easy.
