Major General Mutkut Commends 4 Brigade's Readiness

On July 11, Major General Godwin Mutkut, the Commander of the Infantry Corps, conducted an operational assessment visit to the 4 Brigade Nigerian Army in Benin City, Edo State. During this visit, he commended the brigade's operational readiness and administrative achievements.

Major General Mutkut commissioned several completed infrastructure projects, which included the remodeling of the brigade's conference room, a new operations room, a modern sick bay, and a newly constructed mascot fountain. He praised the brigade for maintaining a proactive security posture that contributes to peace and stability in Edo State.

Mutkut conveyed a goodwill message from the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, applauding the troops' loyalty, discipline, and commitment to duty. He emphasized the importance of maintaining strong family relationships and a stable home environment for military personnel.

The visit featured a tour of facilities within the Nigerian Army Cantonment in Ekehuan, Benin City, and an interaction session with officers and soldiers.
