Student Found Dead in Ondo: Investigation Underway

Audi Emmanuel, a 20-year-old student at Rufu Giwa Polytechnic, was discovered dead in his apartment located along Awolowo Road in Emure Il, Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State. The incident was reported on a Tuesday, with a video circulating on social media showing the deceased's swollen body hanging.

DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the public relations officer of the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation has commenced to determine the cause of death. Preliminary observations indicate that the case may involve suicide.

The police promptly visited the scene, recovered the body, and deposited it in the morgue for preservation and autopsy. DSP Jimoh urged the public to support the family during this emotionally distressing time.
