20-Year-Old Student Found Dead in Ondo State Room

Audi Emmanuel, a 20-year-old student of Computer Engineering at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo, Ondo State, was discovered dead in his residence in the Emure Il area. Neighbors reported a foul smell emanating from his room, prompting them to force the door open, where they found his lifeless body hanging.

The police were promptly notified and arrived at the scene to recover the body, which was subsequently deposited in the morgue for preservation and autopsy. Preliminary observations by the police suggest that the case may be a suicide; however, a thorough investigation is ongoing to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Abayomi Jimoh, the spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed the report and stated that an investigation has commenced.
