Wike Asserts PDP Will Rebuild Amid Leadership Crises

During a speech at the PDP convention held in Abuja on a Sunday night, Nyesom Wike, a prominent member of the party, asserted that the PDP will emerge stronger despite recent challenges. He specifically referred to governors who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), lamenting their abandonment of the party during a critical time.

Former Kwara State Governor Bukola Saraki also spoke at the convention, highlighting the need for selflessness and justice within the party. Both leaders stressed the importance of unity and commitment to moving the PDP forward in its vision for Nigeria's progress.
