Cornerstone Insurance Plc (CORNERST) has announced a final dividend of ₦0.28 kobo for every share of ₦0.50 kobo nominal value, declared for the financial year ended 31st December 2025. The dividend is subject to appropriate withholding tax and shareholder approval.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on 2nd July 2026 — the qualification date — will be eligible for the dividend. The Register of Shareholders will be closed from Friday, 3rd July 2026 to Monday, 6th July 2026.
Dividend payment is scheduled for 20th July 2026 and will be made electronically to shareholders who have completed e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar, Lighthouse Registrars Limited, to pay directly into their bank accounts. Shareholders yet to complete e-dividend registration can do so via the NIBSS EDMMS self-service portal or by contacting the Registrar directly.
The filing also notes that shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates are advised to visit the company's unclaimed dividend portal. No bonus issue was proposed alongside this dividend.
The Company's Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 20th July 2026 at Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, commencing at 12 pm.
