Coronation Art Gallery Launches Three-Month Exhibition

The Coronation Art Gallery has inaugurated a three-month exhibition named "The Value of Belief — Collectors, Conviction and the Making of Cultural Futures" at Coronation Plaza, Victoria Island, Lagos. The exhibition features works from the private collections of Nigerian collectors Kayode Adegbola, Kola Aina, and Seyi Ajibola, who have significantly contributed to the contemporary art landscape in Nigeria.

The opening event was attended by Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Chairman of Coronation Group, along with members of the Group’s Board and other distinguished guests. Kayode Akindele, Managing Partner of Coronation Capital, stated that the exhibition allows for engagement around the shared understanding of value in art.

The exhibition runs through November 2026 and includes private viewings, curated tours for university students, and a closing webinar. Ngozi Akinyele, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of Coronation Group, emphasized that the initiative reflects the organization's broader understanding of prosperity beyond financial returns, highlighting the significance of cultural investment.
