RCCG Launches “Creation Speaks” Art Exhibition in Lagos

The “Creation Speaks” exhibition, organized by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, and Fobally Art World Africa, is set to open in Lagos on October 15 and will run for two weeks. The event aims to create a platform for artists to showcase and sell their work while fostering a broader ecosystem around faith-based art.

Pastor Jide Aiyegbusi, National Elder of RCCG and CEO of Saviorite Ventures Limited, emphasized the exhibition's purpose of honoring and glorifying God through art. The exhibition will feature works from approximately 200 artists, selected through an open call based on creativity and alignment with the theme.

Mrs Folashade Abiola, CEO of Fobally Art World Africa, highlighted the initiative's goal to address market access gaps for artists, particularly emerging ones. The exhibition will also focus on mentoring young artists and encouraging community engagement.

More than 100 artists have already registered, with expectations for total participation to reach around 200.
