Cleric Criticizes Nigeria's Anti-Corruption Efforts, Calls for Reform

Rev. Fr. George Ehusani, a cleric and former Secretary General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, criticized Nigeria's anti-corruption agencies, EFCC and ICPC, stating that countries without such bodies perform better in combating corruption. Speaking at a leadership event in Abuja, he emphasized the need to address systemic issues in Nigeria's political leadership recruitment process to tackle corruption effectively.

Fr. Ehusani highlighted the country's challenges with corruption, nepotism, and incompetence among the elite class, calling for a transformation in governance to prevent further decay.
