Court Adjourns Andy Uba's ₦400m Fraud Trial Again Amid Absence

The Federal High Court in Abuja has once again postponed the arraignment of former Senator Andy Uba in a ₦400 million fraud case. Uba, along with co-defendant Benjamin Etu, faces charges related to conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretenses.

The prosecution alleges that Uba and Etu promised to facilitate the appointment of a managing director at the Niger Delta Development Commission in exchange for ₦400 million. Despite warnings and threats of a bench warrant, Uba's lawyer cited health reasons for his absence, leading to delays in the trial proceedings.
