Court Adjourns Ex-Anambra Governor’s N4bn Money Laundering Case Indefinitely

The Federal High Court in Abuja has indefinitely adjourned the N4 billion money laundering case against former Anambra State Governor Willi Obiano. The prosecution requested the pause until the original trial judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo, returns.

Obiano is accused of diverting state funds during his tenure. The case has faced delays and legal challenges since 2017.

The defense did not oppose the adjournment. The trial will resume when Justice Ekwo returns to decide on further proceedings.
