Court Adjourns DSS' ₦5 Billion Defamation Suit Against SERAP in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, Abuja, adjourned the hearing of the ₦5 billion defamation suit filed by the Department of State Services (DSS) against the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP). The case involves two DSS officials, Sarah John Gabriel Ogundele and others.

SERAP's Deputy Director, Oluwadar, testified in court, refuting the allegations of invasion of their office by DSS operatives. The court granted a housekeeping application to allow for the amendment of processes.

The case was adjourned to February 19 for the adoption of final written addresses.
