Court Dismisses Abubakar Malami's Bail Application in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja dismissed the bail application of former Attorney General Abubakar Malami. The application was filed against reports by Justice Babangida Hassan.

Malami's counsel sought bail on the grounds of illegal detention by the EFCC, but the EFCC argued that the detention was lawful. The court ruled in favor of the EFCC, citing lawful detention under the Constitution and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act.
