Blessing CEO Granted Bail in N69 Million Fraud Case

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been granted bail by Justice Oshodi of the Lagos State Special Offences Court in her ongoing trial concerning an alleged N69 million fraud. The bail is set at N20 million, requiring two responsible sureties with similar financial backing.

The court imposed strict conditions for the bail, including the necessity for the sureties to provide a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit worth at least N20 million. Additionally, the court mandated that Blessing Okoro's international passport be submitted, but her counsel reported it was misplaced, supported by an affidavit of loss.

Consequently, the Nigerian Immigration Service will be notified of travel restrictions on Okoro until the trial concludes. The court has adjourned further proceedings to October 12, 2026, during which the prosecution will continue presenting its case.

Okoro is also facing another criminal case at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
