Blessing CEO Granted N20m Bail Over N69m Fraud Case

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been granted bail set at N20 million by the Lagos State Special Offences Court in connection with an alleged N69 million fraud. Justice Mojisola Oshodi presided over the case, requiring Okoro to provide two responsible sureties, each with proof of financial capacity, including a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit of at least N20 million.

The court also mandated that Okoro's international passport be submitted, but her lawyer stated it was lost, supported by an affidavit of loss. The court directed the Nigerian Immigration Service to restrict her movement until the case is resolved.

The trial is adjourned until October 12, 2026. Additionally, Okoro is involved in another case at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, concerning allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing N36 million, where she has reportedly refunded N24 million of the disputed amount.
