Court Rules in Fubara's Favor Against APC Leadership

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted Fubara's request for substituted service in his legal suit against the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentaw Yilwatda, and others. Fubara, who aspires to the position of National Vice Chairman for the South-South region of the APC, is challenging the outcome of the party's national congress, claiming he was excluded from participating in the elections despite expressing interest and submitting a nomination form.

The court, presided over by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, has adjourned the hearing of the case, including preliminary objections filed by the APC, until April 24. Fubara's counsel, Ogochukwu Onyema, informed the court that the defendants had not been served with court documents, prompting the request for substituted service, which was granted.

Fubara is also seeking N100 million in general damages against Victor Giadom and Sulaiman Muitamma, claiming their actions caused him mental anguish and embarrassment.
