Fubara Dagogo Sues APC for ₦100 Million Over Nomination

Fubara Dagogo, an aspirant for the position of National Vice Chairman South-South of the APC, has initiated legal action against the party in the Federal High Court in Abuja. He seeks an order to halt activities related to the upcoming zonal congress scheduled for March 25, 2026, and demands ₦100 million in damages.

Dagogo alleges that despite fulfilling the necessary conditions, including the payment of ₦5.1 million for a nomination form, the APC leadership failed to issue him the form. He has made multiple attempts to obtain the form in accordance with APC's constitutional provisions but was unsuccessful, prompting him to seek legal redress.

The suit, marked FHC/ABJ/CS/591/2026, requests the court to interpret provisions of the APC constitution regarding payment acknowledgments and to declare the outcomes of the congress void without his participation. The defendants include APC's National Chairman Nentaw Yilwatda and others, who have been given 30 days to respond to the summons.
