Court Halts DNKI NEC Inauguration Amid Legal Dispute

The Federal Capital Territory Court has issued an injunction halting the inauguration of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Norsemen Club International (DNKI). Justice Georg Basil Okwenna ordered security agencies to take action against defendants allegedly involved in the planned leadership retreat from March 13 to 15, 2026.

The court's decision came after a suit was filed by the board of trustees of DNKI, which seeks to nullify the purported election of the NEC, claiming it contravenes the association's constitution. The court has restrained the first nine defendants from presenting themselves as members of the NEC and has compelled police to investigate and prosecute those participating in the scheduled retreat.

The board of trustees has alleged that the defendants circulated a video falsely suggesting involvement in blood-sucking activities, which they claim is contrary to the norms of DNKI. The court's ruling aims to prevent any actions related to the retreat until the legal matters are resolved.
