Court Fines Odumodublvck N125,000 in Assault Case

On October 14, 2026, a High Court imposed a N125,000 cost on Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, after his legal team sought a postponement in an assault case against him. Justice J.O.E.
Adeyemi-Ajayi delivered the ruling, adjourning the proceedings to October 27 and 29 for cross-examination and defense. The lawsuit was initiated by fellow artist Ogbogiri Okey Levi, known as Kraziecent, who accused Odumodublvck of physically attacking him at a public event in December 2024, damaging his iPhone 15 Pro Max, and causing significant emotional distress.
During the hearing, claimant's counsel Mr Uchenna Ojembe confirmed the presence of his witness, while defense counsel Mr Ikenna Magnus requested additional time to prepare, having recently taken over the case. Justice Adeyemi-Ajayi denied the request for delay, imposing the fine directly on Odumodublvck.
Kraziecent's suit seeks various remedies, including reimbursement of medical expenses and a public apology or alternatively, N2 billion in damages.
