OdumoduBlvck's Lawyers Petition Police Over Arrest Attempt

Lawyers representing Nigerian musician Tochukwu Gubemi Ojogwu, known as OdumoduBlvck, have submitted a petition to the Lagos State Police Command concerning an alleged attempt to arrest him at approximately 3:00 AM on August 29, 2026. The petition, dated August 31, 2026, was drafted by Marshal Attorneys and directed to the Assistant Commissioner of Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The legal team asserts that the police's actions occurred despite their client's compliance with a previous police invitation. They noted that the Inspector General of Police’s office is already addressing the issue through its Monitoring Unit and highlighted that a related case is pending before an Abuja Magistrate Court.

The lawyers requested an investigation into the circumstances of the alleged arrest attempt and urged the police to defer to the Inspector General of Police’s office, which is managing the matter.
