Court of Appeal Dismisses Nnamdi Kanu's Rights Violation Case Against DSS

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed Nnamdi Kanu's appeal against the Department of State Services (DSS), Director-General (DG), and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) for violating his rights. Kanu, the IPOB leader, was convicted of terrorism and sentenced to life imprisonment by a Federal High Court.

The court found Kanu's claims of human rights violations to lack merit. His lawyer, Maxwell Opara, confirmed Kanu is held in Sokoto Prison, with the court denying his request to be transferred to Kuje Prison.

This decision comes after a previous ruling by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
