Court Halts PDP's Attempt to Dissolve Cross River State Exco

The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an order preventing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from dissolving the state executive committee in Cross River State. This decision came after a lawsuit filed by Barrister Venatius Ikem and 33 other executive committee members challenging the party's attempt to dissolve the state leadership.

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik directed the PDP to maintain the status quo pending the determination of the case. The court also instructed the party to serve relevant documents to the respondents.

The lawsuit aims to halt the party chairman from dissolving the State Executive Committee and suspending positions within the party structure.
