Court Confirms PDP 2025 Convention Results in Ibadan

On Friday, the High Court in Ibadan, presided over by Justice Ladiran Akintola, upheld the results of the PDP 2025 Convention that took place on November 15-16, 2025. The court ruled on an application for joinder in a case where the request by Nwachukwu and others to pause the proceedings was dismissed.

The judgment approved 13 claims brought forth by claimant Folahan Malomo and lawyer Musbau Adetunmbi. The court's decision confirmed the leadership of Dr.

Taminu Turaki, who led the national working committee chosen at the convention. This ruling effectively ends disputes regarding the validity of the convention and affirms the results of the party's internal elections held in Ibadan.
