Cricket: South Africa Recall Trio For England T20 Series

South Africa has recalled David Miller, Keshav Maharaj, and Donovan Ferreira for the upcoming T20 series against England next month. Miller, a batter, Maharaj, a spin bowler, and Ferreira, who last played in the shortest format in December, have been in good form in franchise cricket.

The Proteas will play three international matches, including three T20s, during the tour of the UK starting on September 2. The squad also includes Marco Jansen and Lizaad Williams, with teenage fast bowler Kwena Maphaka retained in the ODI squad as cover for Kagiso Rabada, who is recovering from an ankle injury.

Rabada, who has almost 250 wickets, is expected to join the ODI squad for the T20s as the team builds towards the 2026 T20 World Cup. The tour kicks off with the first ODI at Headingley on September 2.
