APC Crisis in Kebbi: State Chairman and Local Leaders Suspended

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has issued suspension notices to its state chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, and Zuru local government chairman, Aliyu Abubakar Abiola, for alleged violations of established party principles and procedures. The decision, announced by state APC secretary Idu Muhammad Kimba, follows a formal complaint lodged by key stakeholders within the Zuru emirate.

Specific infractions cited include a lukewarm attitude towards party activities, inadequate engagement with critical stakeholders, poor mobilization efforts, and non-compliance with established party guidelines. In a related action, the Kebbi State Government, led by Yakubu Bala Tafida, announced the suspension of Kabir Usman Alaramma Zuru from his position as the state commissioner for livestock development and fisheries.

This suspension takes immediate effect and will remain in force until further notice, as directed by the state government.
