Crisis at CIG Motors as ED Faces Termination Amid Corruption Allegations

A rift has emerged at CIG Motors as the Executive Director, Jubril Arogundade, faces termination following alleged financial improprieties. The company, known for its automotive brands like GAC, JMC, and DFM, recently expanded its portfolio through a partnership with the Lagos State Government to provide vehicles for a ride-hailing service.

Arogundade's dismissal, amid corruption accusations and an ongoing investigation, has led to a public dispute between him and the management of CIG Motors, including Chairman Diana Chen. The matter has been referred to the EFCC for further scrutiny.
