Cristiano Ronaldo Acquires Stake in UD Almería Club

Cristiano Ronaldo, the 41-year-old forward currently playing for Al Nassr, has become a co-owner of the Spanish club UD Almería by purchasing a 25% stake. This investment was made through his newly established company, CR7 Sport, in partnership with a Saudi Arabian investment consortium led by Moham Al Khereiji.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Ronaldo expressed that this move is deeply personal and he is eager to collaborate with the club's hierarchy.

Al Khereiji, the club president, described Ronaldo's involvement as a major endorsement of the project underway at the Andalusian side. UD Almería, founded in 1989, is currently positioned third in the Segunda División table, just two points behind the leader, with 15 matches remaining in the season.

Ronaldo's move signals a return to Spanish football, albeit in a boardroom role, after spending nine successful years at Real Madrid.
