Enugu Gov't Clashes with Sujimoto CEO Over Contract Breach Allegations

The Enugu State Government responded to the CEO of Sujimoto Luxury Construction Limited, Olasijibomi Ogundele, who denied allegations of fraud in a video following being declared wanted by the EFCC. The government dismissed Ogundele's emotional video as theatrics and insisted that he breached contract terms related to the construction of 22 Smart Green Schools in the state.

The Commissioner of Information and Communication, Malachy Agbo, accused Ogundele of manipulating the process and using deceptive tactics to shield financial liabilities. The government highlighted that a substantial contract was awarded to Sujimoto, with upfront payments made, but the project faced delays and alleged misconduct, leading to the current dispute.
