CRPP Demands Resignation of Edo State Governor Okpebholo

The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) has publicly criticized Edo State Governor Okpebholo, insisting that he must resign due to his administration's ineffectiveness and failure to alleviate the hardships faced by citizens. The coalition, led by its national chairman Dr. Samson Isibor, dismissed the governor's responses as attempts to deflect attention from his administration's ineptitude.

Kassim Afegbua, a spokesperson for the CRPP, expressed disappointment over the governor's alleged abandonment of governance priorities in favor of political campaigning for the 2027 elections. The CRPP has also challenged the governor's administration to justify the substantial allocations received from the federal account, particularly regarding security and revenue generation.

They maintain that their criticisms are constructive and aimed at addressing the realities faced by ordinary citizens, while also rejecting accusations of being a disorganized group lacking credibility.
