CSR REPORTERS Launches Nigeria CSR Impact Ranking Framework
CSR REPORTERS has unveiled the methodology for its Nigeria CSR Impact Ranking 2026, introducing an evidence-based framework to assess corporate social responsibility and sustainability performance in Nigeria. Eche Munonye, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CSR REPORTERS, stated that the framework aims to focus on measurable outcomes and verifiable evidence rather than publicity and self-reported claims.
The methodology includes five assessment dimensions, with impact weighted at 30 percent, while Strategic Alignment and Measurement and Evaluation each account for 20 percent, and Sustainability and Scale, and Transparency and Accountability, carry 15 percent each. The framework incorporates structured scoring, evidence classification, and stakeholder validation.
An Evidence Confidence Indicator will assess the strength of supporting evidence. The ranking will not imply comprehensive audits or independent verification of every reported outcome.
The inaugural ranking will assess organizations within a defined 2026 assessment universe and publish the Top 50 sustainability and social impact performers, with the unveiling scheduled for November 2026 in Lagos.
