Women SDG Advocates Conference Set for March 2026 in Lagos

CSR-in-Action and the African Cleanup Initiative (ACI) have announced the formation of a committee for the Women SDG Advocates Conference (WSAC) scheduled for March 11, 2026, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This hybrid event aims to empower women and promote sustainable development goals, coinciding with International Women's Day.

The conference expects to host around 200 women leaders from various sectors, including business and public service. The committee is chaired by Dr.

Bekem Masad Olowola, the Group Chief Executive of CSR-in-Action, with Victoria Uwadoka serving as the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Lead at Nestlé Nigeria. Other notable members include Titilop Oguntuga and Mr.

Bukola Adeoy. The conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and sessions focused on advocacy and access to funding.

Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih, the Lagos State Governor, will deliver a keynote address, and various experts will participate in panel discussions to highlight women-led solutions and sustainable development strategies.
