IGP Disu Promises Justice for Jos Killings Soon

On Thursday, during a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Government House in Jos, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ralwan Olatunji Disu, assured that the culprits behind the recent killings in Jos would soon be brought to justice. He acknowledged the tragic incidents and stated that the police would do everything within their power to address the situation.

While he could not guarantee a 100 percent success rate in apprehending suspects, he expressed confidence that they would soon resolve the matter. In response to Governor Mutfwang's call for enhanced security, the IGP discussed plans to deploy additional personnel and modern technology to tackle threats in Plateau State.

He noted that the state police had undergone restructuring to improve efficiency and emphasized the need for better intelligence gathering, including the use of night drones and enhanced capabilities within the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to facilitate effective prosecutions.
