Customs Commission Installs Advanced Cargo Screening Machine at SAHCO

The Customs Commission, led by Controller Awe, inaugurated an Advanced Cargo Screening X-ray Machine at the Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) warehouse in a bid to enhance trade facilitation and cargo security at the Hajj Cargo Terminal. The new screening equipment aims to expedite the screening process, improve cargo security, and streamline trade operations at the airport.

Controller Awe stressed the machine's role in simplifying processes, promoting transparency, and safeguarding national security. SAHCO expects the machine to significantly reduce processing time, enhance operational efficiency, and boost stakeholder confidence in Nigeria's cargo handling system.
