Garba Dismisses El-Rufai's Claims Against Ganduje, Calls for Probe

Muhammad Garba, a former commissioner in Kano State, has dismissed allegations made by Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, against Abubakar Isa Ganduje, the former governor of Kano and ex-national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). El-Rufai linked Ganduje to the disappearance of a critic known as Dadiyata.

Garba refuted these allegations, stating that El-Rufai should provide credible evidence rather than making politically charged statements without proof. He emphasized the importance of scrutiny regarding El-Rufai's claims, particularly concerning a police officer's alleged confession about sending individuals to Kano to abduct Dadiyata.

Garba expressed concern over the political climate and the potential for public confusion regarding unresolved issues. He noted that during Ganduje's two-term administration, there were no records of arrests or harassment of journalists.

Garba reiterated his sympathy for Dadiyata's family and stressed the need for a transparent investigation to uncover the truth.
